The Downingtown Area Senior Center received national recognition from the National Council on Aging for the center's award-winning Food for Thought program.  Food for Thought is designed to educate seniors on health-related topics.  The program features guest speakers from partnerships formed with Brandywine, Chester County and Paoli hospitals and is offered six times a year.  To read the full article please click here.

Marjorie Johnson, ICF-accredited coach, experienced clinical social worker, and owner of Ascend Consulting, Inc. was inducted as the President of International Coach Federation (ICF) - Philadelphia chapter for 2012 at a dinner ceremony on December 15th.  As President-elect during 2011, she directed the planning and execution of the association's highly successful bi-annual Coaching Convention.  Marjorie now assumes executive responsibility for the Board of Directors of this 300 member organization.  To read the full article please click here.
