The Exton Region Chamber of Commerce highlighted member non-profits at the June Lunch

EXTON – June 13, 2017 – The Exton Regional Chamber of Commerce was proud to honor and highlight our Member Non-Profits at our Non-Profit Luncheon on June 6, 2017 at the Whitford Country Club.

Over 100 people attended the Luncheon where member Non-Profits had the opportunity to highlight their organizations. The program, entitled Stories from the Heart: Social Responsibility Starts with a Story featured stories from 5 Non-Profit participants who shared the story of how a non-profit had a direct, profound impact on their life.

Non-Profit Organizations are a vital part of every community. They provide much needed services to underserved, at-risk, marginalized, and challenged populations. Non-Profit organizations work tirelessly with strict budgets, minimal resources, and staff who wear many hats. Their impact is felt, not only for the individuals they serve, but in the greater community as well. If a participant can utilize a non-profit to improve their life, that individual will contribute to the economic well-being of a community.

The mission of the Non-Profit Council of the ERCC is to enhance and contribute to the quality of life in Exton community by assisting in the growth and development of its Non-Profit Organizations.  The ERCC business community is drawn to supporting non-profit organizations to foster their organizations mission to helping the entire community by helping the non-profit organization.
