Exton, PA-July 31, 2017: The Exton Region Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the winners of their 2017 Annual Dinner Awards presented by DNBfirst. Recipients of the awards will be recognized for their positive impact on the region and their dedication to fostering a climate of economic prosperity and diversity.
The 2017 Annual Dinner will take place on September 12th at Downingtown Country Club in Downingtown, PA beginning at 5:00 PM. The keynote speaker is Head Coach Emeritus, Andy Talley of Villanova University. Coach Talley will share his personal principles of leadership and motivation and tell his story of transitioning from coaching for 30+ years at Villanova to a life of passion and purpose. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation. Tickets are $100 per person and $190 per couple, with sponsorship opportunities available. The Harold Martin Leadership Award, named after “Mr. Exton” for his commitment to the region and its people, will be awarded this year to Diana Mattingly from First Resource Bank in Exton. Diana has been extremely active in the Exton community over the years in business and in volunteering. The businesses and residents of Exton have been impacted by Diana’s leadership since 2006 as a bank branch manager, and is leading the team at First Resource Bank in Exton. John Durso, Chief Retail Officer at First Resource bank said of Diana,” A key sign of a great leader is when they can recognize talent, grow and develop it, and then have the wisdom to let it go. Diana’s track record has produced a great number of other leaders in Exton, both in and out of banking. “
The Small Business Person of the Year Award will be given to Lori Zytkowicz of Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast for her contribution to the economy and vitality of the region. Since March of 2008 Lori has hosted more than 10,000 room nights and over 250 events with thousands of event guests at her historic Victorian 7,200 square foot B&B which include weddings, showers, rehearsal dinners, memorial services, birthday and anniversary parties, corporate meetings, and more. Fellow ERCC Board Member, Lou Oswald of Oswald Business Services, singled Zytkowicz out for nomination because of her business success for almost 10 years, and passion for volunteering her Faunbrook event space, time, and auction chant, for many local events and charities. http://faunbrook.com/
The Senator Robert J. Thompson Public Service Award, normally bestowed at the Annual dinner, will instead be given at the Annual Review Luncheon in January 2018.

The Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation was founded in 2010 to support the “Get in the Game, Save a life initiative” and Be the Match program.
